Harness Your Inner Child

This year I resolve to harness my inner child and live in the moment.  I am going to approach life with the innocent wonderment of a child, yet also utilizing the knowledge I've gained from growing and learning year after year.  As adults we tend to have worries about our life that take us away from this very moment, the present.

I remember being so carefree as a child, and I think utilizing that playfulness in life with everything you do, whether it be work or play, just really being in the moment and appreciating what is happening right now in front of you,  can really bring more joy to your life.  What are you going to resolve to do this year?  xo Karen

Holiday Party OOTD ( I'm So Fancy )

The holidays are here!! What I love most about the holidays (besides all the eating, festive decorations, hanging with family and friends, the fake snow at the Grove, christmas shopping, ugly christmas sweaters..I can keep going here...) are all the HOLIDAY PARTIES!! Why? Well, it gives me an excuse to dress up a little fancier than usual!! Fall Floral Layering

Fall is finally here! Time to rock those layers, sweaters, scarves and high boots! Though leaves are falling, and it's indeed getting chillier, the weather in Southern California is still in the 70's and still warm most days.  How to dress for fall when it's not quite sweater weather where you are? Wear light layers!
